AI summary

This proposal, FIP-446, suggests allowing early withdrawal from two specific Convex pools, stkcvxSTGFRAXBP and stkcvxCOILFRAXBP. The reason is that these pools are no longer providing significant rewards and don't align with Frax's current strategy, particularly regarding FXTL point incentives. The proposal aims to enable investors to move their funds to more beneficial Frax initiatives, specifically frxUSD.

Impact

If passed, investors in the two mentioned Convex pools can withdraw their funds early, but they will incur a 4% early withdrawal fee. This benefits Frax by encouraging reallocation to new tokens like frxUSD, potentially boosting its incentives, while those who withdraw early will pay a fee.

This FIP is to pass an early withdrawal of the Convex pools stkcvxSTGFRAXBP and stkcvxCOILFRAXBP. Since December 2025 the rewards per period have been near zero with pools no longer serving the long term functionality of Frax.

Explanation

These pools per the roadmap of FRAX will continue to loose incentives. This does not serve the interest of the FRAX team and neither the investors who are considering reallocating to the proper mapping which will help boost FRAX's incentives.

Not only are these pools using LFRAX but there are no FXTL point …
