[GIP-19] Pools/assets and AllowedList Policy for V2
AI summary
This proposal, GIP-19, seeks to approve a list of specific liquidity pools and assets for use within Gearbox V2. These assets are primarily LP (Liquidity Provider) tokens from Curve and Convex, as well as yVaults from Yearn, which will enable new leveraged strategies for users. The goal is to integrate with established DeFi protocols like Lido, Curve, Convex, and Yearn to offer high-yield farming and trading opportunities.
If passed, Gearbox V2 will be able to launch with these new integrations, expanding the types of leveraged strategies available to users. This benefits users looking for more diverse and potentially higher-yield opportunities, while the DAO benefits from increased protocol usage and potential fee generation. There are no clear losers identified, but the introduction of new assets and integrations always carries some level of smart contract risk.

Motivation
Gearbox V2 has passed external audits and is about ready for deployment on Mainnet.
V2 includes integrations with Lido, Curve, Convex, and Yearn protocols and allows new leveraged strategies for high-yield farming and trading. Those protocols have well-established processes, reliable infrastructure as well as strong community support.
The V2 strategies involve assets that can be leveraged using Curve, Convex, and Yearn:
