Could gas fees for Aavegotchi portal summoning be reduced using Xdaichain
AI summary
This proposal suggests integrating Aavegotchi with Xdai Chain (now Gnosis Chain) via a bridge. The primary goal is to reduce the transaction costs, known as 'gas fees,' that users currently pay when summoning Aavegotchi portals on the Ethereum network. By moving this process to a more cost-effective blockchain, the proposal aims to make the game more accessible and affordable for players.
If this proposal passes, Aavegotchi players would benefit from significantly lower costs when summoning new Aavegotchis, potentially increasing participation and reducing barriers to entry. There are no clear losers, but the development team would need to allocate resources to build and maintain the Xdai bridge.
