AI summary

This proposal suggests using the Aavegotchi DAO treasury to fund brand awareness advertising campaigns. The author proposes two plans: Plan A for $1,000 and Plan B for $6,000, both over six months. The advertising would utilize the 'Go Go Duppy' web series, linking to either the web series itself (Plan A) or a game explanation video (Plan B), with the ultimate goal of directing traffic to Aavegotchi's main platforms. The aim is to establish Aavegotchi as a multi-medium brand, similar to popular franchises like Pokémon, to gain broader exposure and organic growth.

Impact

If this proposal passes, the Aavegotchi DAO treasury will spend either $1,000 or $6,000 on advertising. The community benefits from increased brand awareness and potential new users, while the treasury's funds are reduced. The effectiveness of the advertising campaign in attracting new users and increasing brand recognition cannot be guaranteed.

Revised with plan B and talking points 1 through 6, see way further below:

Plan A: I propose we advertise for 6 months on a 1000$ budget Aavegotchi.com .We can use Go Go Duppy as an ad to establish brand awareness. We will use Go Go Duppy as an ad on 4chan /co/ for mobile users specifically, it should avoid most of the bots on desktop which waste precious ad impressions. Go Go Duppy is basically an ad in itself for Aavegotchi which has been made for free, it would be wasteful not to put it to us…
