AI summary

This proposal seeks to establish and fund the 'Gotchi Greetoors' team, a group responsible for enhancing Aavegotchi's real-world presence. They will coordinate events, manage booths, handle business development, and create content in collaboration with Pixelcraft, the game's developer. The team aims to source local DAO members for event staffing and explore new revenue streams for the DAO.

Impact

If passed, the Aavegotchi DAO will allocate $80,000 (paid as $20,000 quarterly) from its treasury to fund this initiative for one year. This will enable the 'Gotchi Greetoors' team to represent Aavegotchi at various events, potentially increasing brand visibility and fostering community engagement. Four specific individuals (Nofuturistic, Litepiglet, Tburd, Lost Local) will receive quarterly compensation for their roles, and other DAO members may be paid for event work. The DAO's treasury will decrease by $80,000.

As we are on the precipice of multiple releases of new games and a refreshed Gotchiverse, I believe it is time for the DAO to take our IRL presence to the next level! Pixelcraft has stepped up big time, putting in some aavesome efforts with the BFG and new booth design. Now it’s time for us to take that and show the world what Gotchigaang is all about!
